This great pair of stud earrings was made in the Victorian period and feature 6.5-6.9 mm Old Mine Cut paste set in the center. The stones are accented by a halo of pansy florets in greenish yellow textured gold. The mounting is made of (tested) 14 karat rosey yellow gold with heavy screw backs. The earrings measure 9.6 mm diameter.  Circa 1880's.
